I was born with a sweet tooth. I may be vegetarian, eat organically and practice moderation, but pass a chocolate brownie in front of me and I’ll confide all the top state secrets I know—no arm twisting need be involved.
You may not have heard, but I did not make the cut for Prince Williams and Kate Middleton’s wedding. Maybe it’s for the best—I don’t really look great in tails. I will, however, be celebrating the day at Dunkin' Donuts. The only doughnuteria in the word that knows my order before I even open up my mouth.
Dunkin' Donuts has decided to promote royal matrimony with a heart-shaped donut filled with cherry jelly and topped with vanilla icing and a chocolate drizzle. It looks suspiciously like their recycled Cupid Doughnut from their Valentine’s Day Promotion.
Granted, Dunkin' Donuts may be the brand that's currently positioning itself as the one stop destination for "everyday Joe's," but that hasn’t stopped them from announcing their "Royal Wedding Donut." It seems that Dunkin's CEO Nigel Travis is British and especially excited for the big day. Never mind that Dunkin's strategy of being "All-American" gets sullied in the process, and that Dunkin' doesn't have any shops in the U.K. Will Fergie be picking up a dozen to go?
Dunkin' recently introduced its reverse Boston Crème. If you are not yet acquainted, it’s a wonderful marriage of sugar, chocolate cake, chocolate cream filling and vanilla icing. The only thing missing is an ample dose of Lipitor. I love it!

As a lifelong vegetarian and an aficionado for creatures of the sea–I too have a sweet tooth & voracious appetite for Luxury Chocolate.
It's a cinch to pass up baked goods,— but Chocolate–
no wonder it's called the food of the gods!
this is a very funny and well written article – rather – blog. I am doing some freelance blogging for a ski industry association and this has given me some new ideas – not all retail has to be soft and/or hard goods – it can be sweet goods as well! And thanks b/c now I am craving a DD donut!
